Corporate Responsibility

We recognise the role we play in the local community and the importance of supporting local charities. As such, each year our staff decide on a local charity to support.

We are delighted to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2026–2027 is the Tibbs Dementia Foundation.

Tibbs is a Bedfordshire-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and their families. Their work focuses on enhancing cognitive, physical and emotional wellbeing through a range of services including music therapy, cognitive stimulation, physical activities and peer support. Their holistic approach helps people to live as well as possible with dementia, reducing isolation and fostering a strong sense of community.

Over the coming year, we will be actively supporting Tibbs through a range of fundraising and volunteering initiatives. Our team will be taking part in the LawNet Challenge in the Yorkshire Dales to raise vital funds, alongside organising our own programme of fundraising events.

In addition, we are committed to giving our time as well as raising money. We will be volunteering with the charity and supporting their busy calendar of activities, including community events, charity walks and engagement sessions.

As part of our partnership, we will also be hosting a series of events and workshops focused on wills and lasting powers of attorney, helping to raise awareness of important legal planning considerations for individuals and families.

We look forward to working closely with Tibbs throughout the year and supporting the invaluable work they do within the community.

The charity of the year for 2024 – 2025 was IMPAKT Housing & Support. IMPAKT provides a safe and aspirational place for people to live and the skills and support for long term independent living. In addition, IMPAKT provides support through two domestic abuse support and resettlement teams, a free community larder, affordable pre-loved furniture, and a boutique upcycling shop—helping both the environment and the nonprofit services. Discover more about their impactful work: https://impakt.org.uk/about/

In the past we have worked with the following local charities – Faces Bedford and Bedford MS Therapy Centre.

We understand our collective responsibility towards the environment, and we aim to minimise our carbon emissions. All of our non-confidential waste is recycled where possible, and we use recycled paper whenever appropriate. We are also working towards being a paperless/paper light firm and have registered with the Bike2Work Scheme to encourage employees to leave their cars at home and cycle to work.
