Our Team

Jonathan qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 1997, before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1999. He became a partner in Sharmans in 2015.  He has considerable experience in dispute resolution, including cases before the Supreme Court, and is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).

His expertise includes:

  • Contentious probate
  • Disputed wills and inheritance claims
  • Litigation involving trusts
  • Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 matters
  • Dispute resolution relating to estates

Jonathan is known for providing pragmatic and clear advice in complex and sensitive matters and is relied upon by clients and colleagues for his experience in high-value and contentious probate claims.
